It doesn't take over 30 years to know where the fish are, but it sure helps! Since 1977, AWA has been guiding our guests on Alaska fishing trips down the Kenai River. The banks of the upper Kenai River offer productive fishing for sockeye salmon, silver salmon, rainbow trout, & Dolly Varden, while the lower river offers the ultimate chase for the world's largest king salmon or hard-fighting silvers, depending upon the season. Perfect alone or as an add-on to any land tour or cruise! Up to eight hours guided fishing per day!

Top 5 Reasons to Choose the Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge

1. Fish and swap stories with some of the most experienced (and friendliest!) guides on the Kenai River.
2. No need to haul your gear from home. We've got you covered from the best guides to great boats, and quality equipment to make the most of your Alaska fishing vacation.
3. Fish the upper and the lower Kenai River during the day and come home to stunning views, home-cooked meals, & comfortable cabins at our lodge nestled along the banks of the Kenai River.
4. Experience a wide variety of fishing options: king salmon on the lower Kenai, sockeye, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden on the upper Kenai, halibut off the coast of Seward, and fly-out fishing too.
5. Unique Alaskan ambiance, great food, good friends, and your catch prepared and packaged at no additional expense - what else is there? Did we mention the wood-fired sauna?
